On March 22, PinchukArtCentre will open an exhibition of 21 nominees for the Future Generation Art Prize 2019 – the first international award for the young artists under 35 years, founded by Victor Pinchuk Foundation in 2009.

The project will introduce to a broad range of practices of the young artists from 17 countries across the world working in the sphere of contemporary art. It will celebrate its tenth anniversary and definitely impress connoisseurs and international experts.

A main prize winner will receive $ 100 000, $ 60 000 of this sum as a cash reward and $40 000 as an investment into the artist’s practice. In addition, a total amount of $ 20 000 will be awarded to the special prize winners to support projects that develop their artistic practice. It may be split up between several artists, up to 5 persons, at the discretion of the jury.

International jury will define main and special prize winners at the meeting in Kyiv during the Future Generation Art Prize exhibition in PinchukArtCentre.
